Role Summary Ecommerce Marketplace Insights & Analytics (Mumbai)


This role sits within Commerce & Strategy and focuses on driving performance-led growth across ecommerce and quick commerce platforms. The position is a hands-on individual contributor role responsible for analysing marketplace data, shopper behaviour, and retail media performance to deliver actionable insights that improve visibility, conversion, and sales.

The role involves supporting media and strategy teams with category insights, keyword and basket analysis, cohort tracking, and campaign-performance integration. It requires building structured reports, dashboards, and insight-led presentations for clients, while contributing to marketplace growth strategies and best practices.

The candidate will work closely with internal teams and clients, manage ad-hoc data requests, and help standardise reporting frameworks and playbooks.

Ideal Profile:

45 years of experience in marketplace analytics or commerce performance (agency preferred), strong analytical and storytelling skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, understanding of retail media metrics, and the ability to manage multiple brands in a fast-paced environment.

Mindset: Data-driven, commercially sharp, detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive.
