Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented E-Commerce Accounts professional to manage end-to-end accounting operations for our online sales channels. The role will support financial accuracy, profitability analysis, and strategic decision-making across multiple eCommerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end eCommerce accounting, including revenue recognition, reconciliation of online marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.), payment gateways, settlements, and merchant fees.
• Track and analyze product-level profitability (SKU-wise), factoring in manufacturing costs, packaging, shipping, returns, and promotional discounts for plastic homeware products.
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting, coordinating with production and warehouse teams to track raw materials, finished goods, and COGS.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, sales tax/VAT filings, and compliance reports related to multi-channel eCommerce operations.
• Develop and present financial dashboards and insights to support pricing strategy, demand forecasting, and margin optimization across D2C and wholesale channels.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 26 years of experience in eCommerce accounting / finance
• Experience working with SAP is a Must
• Strong understanding of marketplace reconciliations and payment gateway settlements
• Hands-on experience with inventory & COGS accounting
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
• Knowledge of GST / VAT compliance for online sales

Preferred

• Experience in consumer goods / plastic homeware / manufacturing sector
• Exposure to Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Flipkart, or similar platforms
• Ability to translate financial data into business insights
