Job Profile: Oracle EBS Apex Consultant

Location: Mumbai (Andheri)

Employment Type: Full-time, WFO, Regular shift

The Role

Our client is looking for a highly efficient and skilled Oracle EBS / APEX Consultant who has a good understanding of business requirements within the finance function, configuring financial modules, and supporting ERP implementations tailored for manufacturing environments. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, creation of functional documentation, and providing L2 support for finance operations and month-end processes.

Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Analysis

Work closely with finance stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into system functionalities.

Assess existing processes and recommend improvements aligned with best practices in manufacturing finance.

System Configuration & Module Management

Configure and maintain Oracle FLEXCUBE / Oracle APEX financial modules based on approved design specifications.

Ensure accurate integration of modules with P2P and O2C business cycles.

ERP Implementation Support

Support end-to-end implementation of ERP solutions tailored to manufacturing finance processes.

Assist in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and data validation activities.

Documentation & Functional Design

Develop comprehensive Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for finance process enhancements and integrations.

Maintain updated documentation for configurations, workflows, and financial modules.

Operational & L2 Support

Provide Level-2 support for finance-related issues, including month-end closing queries, reconciliation discrepancies, and system errors.

Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.

Compliance & Process Adherence

Ensure ERP processes comply with standard Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle requirements.

Support auditing and governance activities related to finance systems.

Must - Have Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of dedicated finance functional experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Possess hands-on experience with Apexfunctional configuration.
• Understand the intricacies of manufacturing finance, including inventory valuation and cost accounting.

Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX , ideally within manufacturing or similar process-driven industries.

Strong understanding of finance processes , including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and related modules.

Proven experience in configuring and supporting Oracle FLEXCUBE or APEX financial modules .

Demonstrated ability to create detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) .

Experience supporting month-end close , reconciliations, and finance operational issues.

Solid knowledge of P2P and O2C cycles and their integration with finance modules.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and global teams.

Good communication and cross-team collaboration skills
