Role: E3D Administrator

Experience: 8-12 Years

Educational Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech

Responsibilities:

• Set-up and maintain project environment in e3d mainly for the chemical, petrochemical and refinery plants of medium and large size
• Strong knowledge of its systems (client operating systems, server configuration, software installation and configurations) setting up project in global work share and standalone environment
• Detailed knowledge of e3d configuration and setup of symbology, formats and project configuration.
• Setup a master e3d project with standard specification.
• E3d project setup; creation of teams, users, dbs & mdbs based on project philosophy.
• Preparation and maintenance of 3d model workflows and specification/ procedures for e3d.
• Create e3d project using master project as per project requirement with consultation with project management.
• Coordination with it department to set up e3d software and related applications.
• Setting new uda (user defined attributes) as per project specific requirements.
• Draft (2d) and iso draft administration for generating isometrics as per project & client specifications / documents.
• Creation of custom catalog and specification from the bulk load sheets e3d
• Customization drawing template and report creation of all disciplines
• Creation of view styles, graphic rules, label rules.
• Customization of mds / piping support as per project requirement.
• User level troubleshooting in e3d on multiple tasks
• Conduct user level training & e3d job instruction / guidelines.
• Support model review activity and creation Navisworks session.
• Knowledge on importing other 3d model to e3d database and ability to handle various cad format (sat, dgn, dwg, etc.) Into s3d
• Generate the clash report periodically for 30%, 60% & 90% model review requirements and resolve the false clashes
• Maintain log of unresolved operational issues associated with e3d and provide resolution after discussions clients
• Create model review file daily to enable engineering & project management team to have a detailed model review.
• To maintain report of changes made during the updating of the project in the catalogue and specification
• Proficient in setup and integration of 3d design review tools of such as Navisworks etc.

Software Expertise:

• E3D
• SQL, Oracle, .NET, XML, Knowledge of building the Macros is desirable
• Proficiency in a common CAD drafting or graphics tool (e.g., AutoCAD and MicroStation)
