Dynamics F&O Engineer

About the Role

The Dynamics F&O Support Engineer is responsible for providing functional and technical support for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations applications. The role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, timely issue resolution, and continuous system stability across finance and supply chain modules.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for Dynamics 365 F&O modules such as Finance, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Inventory, and Sales
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, incidents, and service requests
• Monitor system performance, batch jobs, integrations, and data flows
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities
• Assist with data corrections, configuration changes, and minor enhancements
• Coordinate with Microsoft support and implementation partners when required
• Maintain support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and support processes

Qualifications

• 26 years of experience supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Strong understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain business processes

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with issue troubleshooting, batch jobs, and workflows
• Knowledge of LCS, lifecycle services, and environment monitoring
• Experience with SQL queries for data validation and analysis
• Familiarity with integrations (DMF, APIs, third-party systems)
• Understanding of security roles, duties, and privileges
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with business users

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure DevOps for ticketing and release management
• Exposure to Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate)
• Basic knowledge of X++ for debugging and issue analysis
• Experience in retail, manufacturing, or finance domain projects
