Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Specific desirable experiences/ preferred knowledge areas:

Deep understanding of automobile systems, components, and technologies.

Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and structured technical content.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language.

Knowledge of documentation standards and regulatory requirements in the automotive industry.
Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Software Competencies:

Adobe InDesign & Illustrator.
Siemens Teamcenter.
Siemens Vismockup /NX/CATIA.
Expert level in PTC Arobortext editor.
Hands on Experience in SAP (PP & MM modules) and Microsoft Office.

Description of the job and key result areas:

Executing end-to-end development and delivery of technical literature (Parts Catalogue, Operator’s Manual, Service Manual, Flat Rate Manual and Diagnostic Manual).
Co-ordinating with R&D team to gather and provide inputs required for the technical literature development for new projects.
Conducting the tractor tear-down activity in the Manufacturing plant or R&D centre for repair time study and capturing the dis-assembly and assembly process.
Coordinating with design team to gather and provide inputs for running design changes and tracking implementation with manufacturing team to update the technical literature.
Creating Parts catalogue using Engineering & Manufacturing bill of materials & 3D CAD data from Teamcenter and publishing in Adobe In-design format & Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) online portal.
Creating Service Manual, Operator’s Manual and Flat Rate Manual in Adobe In-design and PTC using inputs from engineering, 3D CAD data from Teamcenter.
Analysing Engineering/Design changes and source documents shared by design team to identify and update the changes in technical manuals.
Creating service bulletins in Adobe In-design with respect to design changes along with cut off serial numbers and publishing in online portal.
Identifying opportunities for enhancing digital platforms and spearheading initiatives towards digitization.

Experience

Age (in yr.)	28-32 yrs.
Experience: BE – not less than 6-7 Years

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

BE/B.Tech in automobile / mechanical
