Due Diligence-Private Equity (Funds)

Purpose of the role

Acuity Knowledge Partners is currently looking for an individual to play a key role in supporting private markets team. The individual will play a key role in supporting a global investment firm by acting as an extended team member, assisting in due diligence and preparation of investment memorandums for private equity, private credit, and evergreen funds

Experience- 2-5 Years

Designation- Associate/ Senior Associate

Location- Gurgaon/ Bangalore/ Pune

Responsibilities

• Preparing investment memorandums & document reviews of investment opportunities from client due diligence documents like PPM, presentations, teasers, executive summaries etc.
• Creation of PPM data such as fund personnel, fund terms, investment strategy and process, investment highlights & risks
• Creation of financial matrices including Revenue, EBITDA, Net Debt etc.
• Created and updated quarterly / annual firm and fund track record and attribution analysis using due-diligence materials
• Creation of underlying fund returns using annual meeting decks and quarterly reports
• Derived historical fund and firm returns and sourced relevant data out of huge pile of data files
• Drafting annual meeting reviews

Specific Skill Set Requirements

• MBA or other Post-Graduate or Professional Degree from a reputed Institute
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Private Equity, Fund of Funds and Financial Services Industry (FSI) trends
• Knowledge of MS Office with strong skills in MS Word and MS Excel
• Knowledge of databases including CapIQ, Preqin is an added advantage
• Ability to take complete ownership and deliver the projects as per client requirements and timeline
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to conduct high-quality project-level conversations with clients
