We are seeking a Senior Developer, Design and Develop the future of connected vehicle mobile app for Daimler Truck through the cutting edge technologies of IoT, Front end skills , Big Data and Microservices in the Cloud.

As an Developer, you will have an opportunity to design and develop state of the art features for Truck App portal and the new progressive initiative Maestro

Key Responsibilities:

• DDesign, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using Angular
• Experience with building microservices using Java SpringBoot
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end services.
• Implement authentication and authorization using Identity Access Management systems and other security best practices.
• Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across devices.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Utilize Azure DevOps / Github for continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Monitor application performance using Azure Application Insights and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve development practices.
• Define the concepts of monitoring and reporting via Grafana dashboards
• Technically lead the team.
• Define and Lead - Agile development practices and DevOps methods.
• Define and Ensure Best Practices of Application Development.
• Team Mentoring and Competency development

Qualifications

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years experience and 3+ in Java and Angular
• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
• Proficiency in Java and Angular
• Familiarity with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases (e.g., Azure Cosmos DB).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage).
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
