Role Description

Looking for a .NET Developer with strong ASP.NET Web Forms experience in C# to build, enhance, and support data-driven web applications. The role involves end-to-end feature development, debugging production issues, and working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ASP.NET Web Forms applications using C#.
• Implement and manage page life cycle, view state, auto postback, and data binding for responsive UI behavior.
• Work with ADO.NET to build robust data access layers (connections, commands, data adapters, datasets).
• Implement and manage DataGrid and other data-bound controls including events, templates, and custom binding.
• Apply security best practices including authentication, authorization, and secure session management.
• Optimize queries and application performance in collaboration with database and infrastructure teams.
• Debug and resolve application defects across UI, business logic, and data layers.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and deployment activities.

Must-Have Skills

• 25 years of hands-on experience with ASP.NET Web Forms using C#.
• Strong understanding of ASP.NET page life cycle, view state management, and auto postback behavior.
• Experience with server-side and client-side data binding techniques.
• Solid working knowledge of ADO.NET (Connections, Commands, DataReaders, DataSets, Transactions).
• Practical experience with DataGrid / GridView or similar data-bound controls (events, paging, sorting, templating).
• Understanding of web security concepts: forms authentication, role-based authorization, session management, secure configuration.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have (MS SQL Server)

• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server in a production environment.
• Ability to write and optimize basic to intermediate SQL queries using parameters.
• Experience creating and maintaining stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Exposure to dynamic SQL creation and debugging / troubleshooting dynamic queries.
• Experience using SQL Profiler for tracing and diagnosing database activity.
• Familiarity with SQL performance monitoring and basic tuning (indexes, execution plans, query optimization).
• Working experience of .NET Framework: ASP.NET 4.8(4) and Microsoft SQL Server 2017 will be added advantage
