Qualifications and Skills
Job Skills and Experience Requirements: Around 4 years of experience in a Linux HPC environment with hands-on expertise in managing and supporting the HPC simulation applications and customer support

Technical Skills

• Significant HPC customer support experience supporting scientific user community in setting up the applications, porting new software, license management, compilers and libraries installation and management
• Good technical skills in the following HPC areas:
• Programming and scripting skills: shell scripting, Perl, Python, etc.
• HPC applications Administration, configuration, patching and troubleshooting
• Administration of Easybuild application in a largescale HPC environment
• Knowledge of SLURM, LSF, HPC Compute systems, HPC storage systems, Containers
• Knowledge in Ethernet and InfiniBand fabrics support
• Thorough knowledge in accessing external vendor resources to resolve issues related to the scientific software

Preferred

• Ability to handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priority
• Strong relationship skills; work well with multiple stakeholders across organizational boundaries
• Graduate with relevant experience in High Performance Computing industry
• Experience in contributing to Agile based projects and activities
• Strong understanding of the IT business environment will be an advantage
• Experience working in a largescale High Performance Computing environment
