We are seeking a highly experienced Right Angle Architect to join our Commodities Trading team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the trading domain, particularly within the Oil and Gas or Utilities sector, and possess over 10 years of experience with Right Angle (preferably v15 or higher). This role involves identifying and defining the business needs of clients and stakeholders, determining solutions to meet business needs or resolve problems, and leading the development and integration of Right Angle customizations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the identification and definition of business needs for clients and stakeholders within the Commodities Trading business area.
- Develop a deep understanding of the trading domain, specifically in Oil and Gas or Utilities.
- Stay informed on the technology landscape, including current and future developments, and the most commonly available products and integrated solutions.
- Develop and integrate Right Angle customizations using .NET & PowerBuilder (PB); integration with Crystal Report or SSRS is a plus.
- Leverage any hands-on experience with Azure Tech Stack, including Azure Integration Services, Azure DevOps, and MS Power Platform, to enhance project outcomes.
- Work in an Architecture, Design, Development role with direct exposure to complex IT implementation projects.
- Utilize a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving, paying close attention to detail.
- Lead stakeholder management activities and contribute to the growth of the business practice.
- Manage expectations with Client IT Managers/Architects through excellent communication skills.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with Right Angle (v15 or higher) and a solid trading background.
- In-depth knowledge of the trading domain within Oil and Gas or Utilities.
- Familiarity with the technology landscape, including current and future developments.
- Proficiency in RA customization using .NET & PB; experience with Crystal Report or SSRS integration is advantageous.
- Experience with Azure Tech Stack is a plus.
- Proven work experience in Architecture, Design, Development roles with exposure to complex IT implementation projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
