We are seeking a highly experienced KYC Head to lead and oversee all aspects of client onboarding, KYC compliance, and regulatory adherence (SEBI, RBI). This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the company's KYC processes are robust, efficient, and compliant with all necessary standards, while managing a team to ensure that KYC documentation is accurate and up-to-date. The KYC Head will also handle key operational functions, including audits, data integrity, and handling escalated client queries.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the overall KYC onboarding process for new clients, ensuring all regulatory requirements (SEBI, RBI) are met.

Supervise the team in verifying client documentation and ensuring compliance with KYC regulations.

Ensure accurate maintenance of client KYC records across internal systems, in line with regulatory guidelines.

Conduct periodic audits and reviews of client KYC data, with a particular focus on high-risk clients and changes in client information.

Oversee the registration process with the Centralized KYC Registration Agency (CVL), ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

Address and resolve escalated client queries related to KYC, CDSL, and onboarding processes.

Collaborate with compliance, legal, and operations teams to align KYC procedures with evolving regulatory requirements.

Oversee modifications, closures, transfers, and transmission of client accounts and securities to ensure accurate processing.

Develop and implement KYC training programs for internal teams to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in KYC, client onboarding, or compliance roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.

In-depth knowledge of SEBI, RBI, and KYC regulations and their practical application.

Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on compliance.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Proven experience with CVL KRA and CDSL processes.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal teams and engage with clients
