Django Developer

The Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Back end Developer with a strong Django experience. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining backend services and REST APIs.

Tech Stack: Django, Django REST Framework, Celery, PostgreSQL, Redis,

Nice to Have: React (Web), React Native (Mobile)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs using Django and Django REST Framework
• Contribute to backend architecture and system design decisions
• Optimize database queries and improve performance using Django ORM and PostgreSQL
• Build and maintain background task processing using Celery
• Improve system reliability, monitoring, and observability
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with strong unit test coverage
• Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices
• Collaborate closely with product and frontend teams to deliver new features
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system stability
• Work with monitoring tools such as Sentry to track and resolve errors

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django in production environments
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework
• Solid understanding of Django ORM and relational database design
• Experience with PostgreSQL and database query optimization
• Hands-on experience with Celery and asynchronous task processing
• Strong understanding of Git workflows and collaborative development
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
