Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building Indias first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Job Description and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain discrete event simulation models to optimize production workflows and improve operational efficiency in semiconductor manufacturing
• Validate models with real-world data, optimize production workflows and improve operational efficiency in semiconductor manufacturing
• Analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements, collaborate with process engineers and planners
• Present simulation results to stakeholders, support decision-making with scenario analysis

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in simulation of OSAT or semi-fab production lines, throughput and cycle time optimization, bottleneck analysis, integration with MES and scheduling systems
• Knowledge of digital twin platforms, DES platforms, IoT platforms, system integration, data analytics, data visualisation, and project management tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Equivalent
• Know-how of AI-based simulation and optimization platforms, Omniverse, and Plant Simulation preferred

Software Skills

• NVIDIA - Omniverse, Isaac Sim
• Plant Simulation, FlexSim, AnyLogic, and/or equivalent
• Communication protocols
• Python and related libraries, and/or other programming language
• MS Office Apps World, Excel, Power Point
