Designation: Director -Technical Delivery(Healthcare and Lifesciences)

Location: Bangalore, India

We are seeking a Director Technical Delivery to lead large-scale healthcare and life sciences delivery engagements across payer, provider, and life sciences clients. This role is suited for a seasoned delivery leader who brings deep domain expertise, strong people leadership, and a proven ability to drive complex, multi-program delivery in a fast-paced, global environment. The role will be responsible for ensuring delivery excellence, client satisfaction, and scalable growth of healthcare programs.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Program Leadership

• Own end-to-end delivery of large, complex healthcare and life sciences programs, ensuring high quality, predictable outcomes, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Oversee multiple delivery tracks including application development, application managed services (AMS), modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Drive delivery governance, risk management, and escalation management across programs.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, security standards, and client SLAs.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a trusted delivery partner for senior client stakeholders, including business and technology leaders.
• Lead client reviews, steering committee meetings, and executive updates.
• Partner with account, presales, and solutioning teams to support growth, renewals, and expansions within existing healthcare accounts.

People & Organization Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing delivery teams across geographies.
• Build strong leadership layers (Delivery Managers, Program Managers, Architects).
• Drive performance management, talent development, succession planning, and engagement initiatives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Technology & Architecture Oversight

• Provide strategic oversight on solution architecture, engineering quality, and technology decisions.
• Guide teams on modern engineering practices including cloud-native development, data platforms, interoperability, and automation.
• Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks early in the lifecycle.

Operational Excellence & Transformation

• Drive adoption of agile, SAFe, and hybrid delivery models as appropriate to client needs.
• Standardize delivery processes, metrics, and best practices across healthcare portfolios.

Leverage automation, AI, and analytics to improve delivery efficiency, cost optimization, and predictability

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 18+ years of overall experience in IT services delivery, with 8+ years in senior delivery or leadership roles.
• Strong domain expertise in Healthcare & Life Sciences, with deep experience in payer (mandatory) and exposure to provider and/or life sciences.
• Proven track record of managing large delivery portfolios and multi-million-dollar healthcare engagements.
• Extensive experience working with global and distributed teams.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery models, large-scale program governance, and managed services.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience delivering programs on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to healthcare platforms, interoperability standards, and data-driven solutions.
• Experience in account growth, delivery-led sales support, and transition management.
• Prior experience working with global healthcare clients in the US or Europe.
