Job Description
We are hiring a Director Talent Acquisition (GCC) based out of Hyderabad for a New GCC setup coming up in Hyderabad that will serve as a strategic hub for AI, engineering, and advanced business services.
The Director Talent Acquisition will lead the end-to-end talent strategy for building this centre at scale.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for designing and executing high-impact hiring programs for technology, AI, and engineering talent while establishing world-class recruitment processes, employer branding, and partnerships.
The role requires someone who has built teams from scratch in GCCs or large technology environments and can operate at both strategic and execution levels.
Key Responsibilities
GCC Hiring Strategy & Scale
- Own and drive the hiring strategy for the Hyderabad GCC across AI, data, engineering, and product roles
- Build hiring plans aligned to aggressive ramp-up goals (500+ to 1000+ headcount)
- Lead workforce planning in partnership with global business leaders
- Set up scalable hiring models for rapid expansion
Leadership & Team Building
- Build and lead a high-performing Talent Acquisition team (in-house + vendors)
- Define recruiter KPIs, hiring SLAs, and quality benchmarks
- Coach and develop senior recruiters and TA managers
Advanced Tech & Niche Hiring
- Drive hiring for niche skills such as AI/ML, data science, cloud, platform engineering, and digital product roles
- Build pipelines for leadership and critical roles
- Establish CoE hiring frameworks for advanced functions
Employer Branding & Market Positioning
- Position the GCC as a premium employer brand in the competitive tech market
- Partner with marketing and communications to build talent branding campaigns
- Create strong campus and early-career pipelines
Process, Governance & Tools
- Implement ATS, recruitment analytics, and automation tools
- Drive structured interview frameworks and assessment standards
- Ensure compliance with global hiring policies and diversity goals
Vendor & Partner Ecosystem
- Build strategic relationships with search firms, staffing partners, and universities
- Negotiate commercial models and manage vendor performance
- Leverage startup and niche sourcing ecosystems
Required Experience
- 15+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruiting leadership
- Proven experience building or scaling a GCC, large technology hub, or engineering organization
- Strong background in hiring for AI, data, and engineering roles
- Experience managing high-volume + niche hiring simultaneously
- Prior experience working in a multinational or global delivery environment
- Strong stakeholder management with global business leaders
