The foundation focuses on providing quality education to underserved children in India and Nepal, bridging gaps in educational opportunities for neglected communities. Through programs that connect the community, teachers, students, and institutions, Ek Kadam Aur envisions an equitable and inclusive society.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director of Fundraising at Ek Kadam Aur and will be based in Bengaluru. The Director will be responsible for cultivating relationships with major donors, developing communication strategies, overseeing philanthropic initiatives, managing annual giving campaigns, and engaging in strategic planning. While the role is primarily located in Bengaluru, there is flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Must have raised INR 5 Crores annually for a nonprofit organization over the past 3 or more years.
• Experience in Major Donor cultivation and Philanthropy
• Strong Communication skills
• Knowledge of Kannada language preferred
• Expertise in Annual Giving campaigns
• Ability in Strategic Planning for fundraising efforts
• Excellent relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of non-profit fundraising best practices
• Experience working in the education is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (master degree preferred)
