Position: Director Professor Level (Port, Terminal Management & Logistics)

Location: Symbiosis Skills & Professional University (SSPU), Kiwale, Pune

We are seeking passionate educators and researchers committed to excellence, innovation, and shaping the next generation of logistics professionals.

Educational Qualifications:

For Professor, the Ph.D. must have been completed before 2017 or 2018.Minimum 10 research papers published in Scopus / Web of Scienceindexed journals.

Minimum 1 student guided for Phd .

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in Teaching/Research/Industry.
• At least 5 years as academic, administrative, and strategic leadership
• Strong industry connections in port, shipping, or logistics sectors.
• Experience in curriculum development , accreditation , and interdisciplinary program management .

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, administrative, and strategic leadership for Port and Logistics programs.
• Design and deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and research in port operations, terminal management, and supply chain logistics.
• Build and strengthen industry partnerships to align programs with emerging trends and employability goals.
• Supervise and promote research projects and publications aligned with institutional priorities.
• Drive innovation, digital transformation, and sustainability in maritime logistics education.
