Director /Professor for Retail Management

SSPU invites applications for the position of Director School of Retail Management . We are seeking a dynamic academic leader with strong expertise in retail and e-commerce, combining teaching excellence, research capability, and industry engagement. The role involves academic leadership, curriculum development, faculty mentoring, research promotion, and industry collaboration across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic leadership and strategic direction for the School of Retail Management
• Design, deliver, and oversee undergraduate and postgraduate courses in retail and e-commerce
• Develop and update curriculum aligned with industry trends and digital retail transformation
• Mentor faculty and guide students on academic progress, projects, internships, and dissertations
• Lead and promote research activities and publications in peer-reviewed journals
• Foster industry partnerships for live projects, consultancy, internships, and collaborative research
• Participate in academic planning, accreditation processes, and university committees

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Strong academic and leadership experience in retail and e-commerce domains
• Industry collaboration or consultancy experience in retail, e-commerce, or allied sectors
• Knowledge of emerging trends in digital retail, AI applications, and e-commerce platforms
• Innovative teaching pedagogy with a focus on experiential and student-centric learning
• Proven ability to build industry-academia partnerships
