Position: Director, Product Management AI Oncology Platform - Lantern Pharma
Location: Bangalore, India (with travel to US HQ, conferences, and partner meetings)

By leveraging expansive repositories of clinical, scientific, and molecular data, it yields transformative insights to expedite scientific advancements. As Director of Product Management, you will assume ownership of a vital component of RADRs ambitious evolution: its strategic vision, roadmap, and methodical deployment. You will develop active and strong networks with Key Opinion Leaders, Subject Matter experts and biotechnology and Pharmaceutical leaderships to catalyze collaborative and commercial partnerships.We seek a resolute, hands-on leader who integrates AI expertise with oncology acumenmobilizing teams, cultivating partnerships, and exemplifying our foundational principles: Knowledge, Innovation, Collaboration, Leadership, and Integrity. This role extends far beyond routine operations; it involves developing solutions that compress trial durations by years, eliminate hundreds of millionsindiscovery expenditures, and empower patients with viable pathways to overcome cancer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define the Strategic Direction: Establish RADRs trajectoryprioritizing high-impact AI capabilities such as biomarker identification and trial simulations that substantially reduce development uncertainties. Integrate emerging technologies while achieving immediate objectives, ensuring alignment with our clinical pipelines momentum.
- Convert Scientific Insights into Deliverables: Collaborate intensively with data scientists, clinicians, and engineers to translate oncology complexities into refined product specifications and narratives. Gather stakeholder feedback from R&D teams and key opinion leaders to guarantee that each enhancement yields tangible results, such as accelerating trial timelines by 30%.
- Orchestrate Execution: Guide Agile processes across engineering, regulatory, and commercial functions to deliver minimum viable products and facilitate global scaling. Conduct evaluations, monitor key performance indicators for adoption and return on investment, and adapt swiftly based on empirical outcomes.
- Inspire Through Communication: Master the art of narrativedelivering compelling internal briefings that celebrate achievements, executive presentations that captivate investors, and partnership proposals that secure commitments. Build enduring relationships with pharmaceutical leaders and contract research organizations via interactive demonstrations and collaborative sessions, thereby expanding RADRs influence.
- Advance Long-Term Innovation: Monitor advancementsinAI for precision medicine, advocate for ethical boundaries, and develop emerging talent. Integrate RADR seamlessly throughout Lanterns ecosystem, from research inception to commercialization, while upholding our core values.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate degree (Masters or PhD preferred)inScience, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; 5+ yearsinproduct management, including at least 2 yearsinAI-enabled biotechnology or pharmaceutical contexts.
- Proven proficiencyinAI operations (e.g., MLOps, model deployment) and oncology datasets (e.g., multi-omics, clinical trials), with success navigating FDA-equivalent regulations and scaling platforms that advance therapeutic development.
- Direct experienceinoncology drug discovery and developmentpreferably, leading a molecule from conceptual inception through preclinical phases to clinical trials, thereby expediting schedules and mitigating pipeline risks.
- Exceptional communicator: Capable of distilling AI-oncology complexities into resonant narrativesuniting teams, engaging executive leadership, or co-authoring publications with international collaborators. Proficiency across verbal, written, and visual formats is essential.
- Preferred: Director-level achievementsinclinical-stage biopharmaceuticals; familiarity with India-U.S. operational dynamics; unwavering dedication to patient outcomes through principled AI applications.
