Director Plant Business Finance

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned finance leader to Head Plant Business Finance for our manufacturing operations. This role will partner closely with plant leadership to drive financial efficiency, cost optimization, and strategic decision-making across our Mumbai and Bangalore manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end plant finance operations including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Drive cost control initiatives across manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain
• Partner with plant and operations teams to improve margins and operational efficiency
• Monitor key financial metrics: COGS, inventory, wastage, and production costs
• Ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and governance at plant level
• Lead capex planning, ROI analysis, and investment decisions for plant expansion
• Build dashboards and bring data-driven insights for leadership decision-making
• Manage audits and ensure adherence to statutory and internal policies

Key Requirements

• CA / MBA (Finance) with 810+ years of experience
• Strong experience in plant/manufacturing finance (FMCG, consumer, or retail preferred)
• Proven track record in cost optimization and business partnering
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
