For one of our big pharma clients, we are recruiting their first Operational Excellence Director, member of the site leadership team for Hichamal Pradesh region near Chandigarh (Large site of 650 employees).

This global Pharma Manufacturing site experiencing a Transformation of the company with a heavy focus on performance breakthrough

Role:

As a member of the Site Leadership team, the Director of Operational Excellence is a change leader and transformation guide mentor for the SLT:

• Adapting, coordinating and managing LEAN transformation booster projects , in order to achieve the highest possible efficiency of the organisation.
• Developing and deploying of the Operational Excellence Strategy
• Executing Strategic projects across quality, safety, service, cost and people dimensions

Candidate :

- Previous experience of a minimum of 5 years as an Operational Excellence Director.

- Lean expert with deep experience of Kaizen approach and Mini-Transformation / booster methodologies (focused on simultaneous changes to processes, governance and people mindsets & capabilities)

- High level of business acumen to deliver a strategic perspective combined with strong project management capabilities

- Experience interacting with global teams and demonstrated ability to drive cost savings and process improvements

- A university degree in technical or business discipline, science, pharmaceutical or equivalent

- Several years of practical experience in Technical Operations as well as in operational excellence, organizational development, or related roles within a manufacturing site

-Able to relocate near the site to ensure full time presence.

The ideal candidate :

-Expert background in applied LEAN principles and Change Management in large scale industrial production site in any regulated industries.

-Desirable Experience in aseptic filling cGMP manufacturing environment or sterile clean room environments

-Over 10 years of experience in applying and sustaining lean transformation approach with demonstrated successes and learning through the journey
