Job Description

Role Overview

The Director of Marketing Operations & Automation owns RateGains end-to-end marketing systems, automation, and orchestration layer. This role partners closely with Performance Marketing, SEO, Content, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, Sales, and Web/CRO teams to ensure seamless customer journeys, clean data flow, accurate attribution, and scalable growth.

You will lead marketing automation initiatives, build and optimize the martech stack, and deploy AI- and automation-driven workflows that improve efficiency, conversion, and pipeline impact.

This role also leads RateGains Marketing Automation & AI Squad , focused on rapidly experimenting with AI and automation use cases and scaling what works across the funnel. This role will report into the VP of Growth Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own marketing automation, lifecycle design, lead routing, and attribution.
  • Orchestrate tools and workflows across paid, organic, website, chat, email, and sales handoff.
  • Partner with RevOps to ensure data integrity, lifecycle stages, and revenue reporting.
  • Lead CRO-aligned automation across forms, chat, scheduling, and website journeys.
  • Design, build, and optimize the marketing tech stack from scratch and at scale.
  • Deploy automation and AI workflows using no-code/low-code platforms.
  • Run fast PoCs, scale what works, and retire what doesnt.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Expert-level Salesforce experience; strong experience with Pardot / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (PowerDot) .
  • Proven experience setting up and optimizing a B2B SaaS marketing tech stack .
  • Hands-on experience with Zapier, Make.com, n8n .
  • Experience with tools like Drift, Chili Piper, Qualified, Clay (or similar).
  • Strong understanding of B2B funnels, attribution, and revenue operations.

Qualifications

  • 812 years of marketing experience with 5+ years in Marketing Ops / Automation roles.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on execution levels.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
