Job Description: Interior Designer End-to-End Project Management (0 to 1)

Position Summary

The Interior Designer Project Lead will manage interior design projects from concept to completion (0 to 1). This role is responsible for design development, client coordination, budgeting, vendor management, site execution, and final handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per design intent.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Concept & Planning

• Understand client requirements, lifestyle needs, and project scope.
• Create design concepts, layouts, mood boards, and material selections.
• Prepare drawings, BOQs, and design presentations.

2. Project Management (0 to 1 Execution)

• Plan and manage the entire project lifecycle from design approval to handover.
• Prepare project timelines, milestones, and execution schedules.
• Monitor progress and ensure adherence to quality standards.

3. Client & Stakeholder Coordination

• Act as the single point of contact for clients throughout the project.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Manage design changes and client approvals.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare and manage project budgets and BOQs.
• Track costs, variations, and payments to ensure budget compliance.
• Recommend cost-effective design and material solutions.

5. Vendor & Site Management

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, carpenters, and suppliers.
• Supervise site execution, installations, and finishing work.
• Ensure timely procurement and material availability.

6. Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure execution matches approved designs and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve execution issues.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on-site.

7. Project Handover

• Manage snag lists, final inspections, and project closure.
• Ensure smooth handover with complete documentation and drawings.

Key Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 410+ years of experience managing end-to-end interior projects.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and site execution.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or luxury interiors.
• Excellent project management, communication, and client-handling skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Excel, and presentation tools.
