Position Overview
 

The Director of the Enterprise Delivery Center (EDC) will lead a globally distributed team responsible for delivering resilient, secure, and scalable enterprise operations. This includes oversight of infrastructure and cloud operations, enterprise security operations, collaboration platforms, ITSM engineering, release management, and vendor governance. The role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with global data privacy regulations and optimizing software asset lifecycle management.

Responsibilities


Enterprise Operations

  • Lead 24/7 enterprise operations across applications, infrastructure, and platforms to ensure high availability, performance, and resilience

  • Drive operational excellence through automation, observability, and proactive incident prevention

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of operations with business objectives

  • Manage DR process and help transform DR and Business Continuity objectives for Enterprise Systems

  • Oversee enterprise collaboration platforms operational issues and address them timely (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, conferencing tools) to ensure seamless communication and productivity

  • Partner with Enterprise Experiences and Workplace Services to enhance digital employee experience and support hybrid work models

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

  • Manage global infrastructure services including data centers, cloud platforms, network transformation (e.g., SASE, firewall migrations), and disaster recovery

  • Lead modernization efforts such as database server refreshes, DNS/DHCP migrations, and Tier 0 service upgrades

  • Ensure compliance, scalability, and performance across all infrastructure layers

  • Partner with Security & Compliance on vulnerability remediation, and patching our systems

  • Manage identity and access systems including MFA, SSO, and privileged identity management Operations

Vendor & MSP Relationship Management

  • Own strategic relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and third-party vendors

  • Monitor vendor performance, contract health, and compliance through integrated analytics and dashboards

  • Collaborate with the Vendor Data Privacy team to ensure GDPR-aligned data handling and deletion protocols

Software Asset Management (SAM)

  • Lead the automation of software access workflows with threshold controls for centrally managed products

  • Ensure license compliance, optimize software spend, and reduce manual provisioning through SAM platforms

  • Partner with finance and procurement to manage renewals, audits, and vendor negotiations

Data Privacy & GDPR Compliance

  • Ensure systems and vendors support data access, deletion, and portability (DAP) features

  • Support Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)

  • Align with global privacy governance and security architecture

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12+ years in enterprise IT operations, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles

  • Proven experience managing global teams and mission-critical systems

  • Deep knowledge of ITSM, cloud infrastructure, enterprise security, and collaboration platforms

  • Strong background in vendor governance, contract negotiation, and SLA enforcement

  • Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, and global data privacy frameworks

  • Experience with software asset management and enterprise release management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading India-based delivery centers

  • Familiarity with Autodesk’s enterprise systems and privacy compliance architecture
