Director of Engineering

As Director of Engineering , you will lead a team of managers and senior engineers in developing cuttingedge data analytics and platform solutions. Youll be handson with architecture, design and development, driving projects from 0 to 1 while aligning with customer needs and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of managers and senior engineers to build SaaS applications and platform solutions from scratch.
• Be handson in architecture, design, and development, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Navigate uncertainty, prioritise features, and drive projects toward clear, measurable goals.
• Focus on customer-centric development, ensuring solutions meet real user needs and enable business outcomes.
• Foster a growth mindset, mentor engineers and engineering leaders, and establish best practices.
• Collaborate with product management and leadership teams to ensure alignment between engineering execution and business strategy.

Requirements

• 15+ years in technology, with 10+ years in leadership/technical leadership roles.
• Strong track record in architecture and design of complex, scalable systems.
• Proven experience building a SaaS application or platform solution from 0 to 1 (endtoend product engineering: concept architecture launch scale).
• Experience leading and managing engineering teams of 4050+ engineers or equivalent managers.
• Exceptional problemsolving skills, with a strong customerfocus and business acumen.
• Excellent communication and team management skills, comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders and crossfunctional leadership.
