Director of Engineering

Client is a leading player in Digital Lending space with now license to expand businesses (Payment Aggregator and other related product)

While the role is based in Bengaluru, it will require travel to Mumbai regularly (50% time in there) Or you can be based in Mumbai; more than 50% of the team under this role is based in Mumbai

Responsibilities:

• Team building, mentoring and ability to attract best talent to enhance the productivity of all the application engineering teams.
• Build & maintain systems for ensuring reliability of the product platforms, and enhance, scale & Ideation and stakeholder management
• Maintain the end-user computing experience for all of functions.
• Define engineering practices, product development patterns and drive products development to scale to requirements.
• Build, own and mentor the team of high-performance engineering team, product owners and engineering managers, provide thought leadership across each of these functions to bring best efficiencies and quality.

Requirements:

• Excellent understanding on how to build large scale product components.
• In depth experience in driving high performance engineering team who has built large scale platform products either on premise or on cloud
• Good understanding of building products from ground up using best practices.
• 12+ years of experience in platform products development.
