Director of Engineering ( Electric Vehicle Startup)

Were building Indias first electric sports car. Purpose-built for Indian roads and engineered with cutting-edge electric performance tech, this machine is designed to ignite a segment thats long been overlooked in India.

We believe an electric sports car should do more than just go fast in a straight line, It should handle with precision, accelerate with emotion, and respond like an extension of the driver. Every component we design is shaped by this philosophy, from the chassis dynamics to power delivery, from ride tuning to aerodynamic balance.

This is not a traditional Director of Engineering role.

This is a ground floor opportunity to architect the entire electric performance stack of a sports car and shape the DNA of a new performance brand from day one.

You will define how this car accelerates, handles, cools, charges, responds and survives Indian conditions at high performance limits. You will not inherit a system. You will create it.

• System architecture of the electric powertrain using proven components and technologies

• Battery pack integration, BMS , thermal strategy and packaging

• Vehicle level system integration, calibration and performance tuning

• Working with suppliers and partners to rapidly prototype and iterate

• Defining engineering standards, validation plans and performance benchmarks

• Building and mentoring a lean engineering team as we scale

• Contributing to product direction, long term R&D vision and investor conversations

This role is for someone who:

• Has 8 to 15 years in EV powertrain, battery systems or performance vehicle engineering

• Has built things, not just reviewed them

• Wants to create, test, break and rebuild until it is perfect

• Thinks like a founder, not an employee

• Wants to build something iconic rather than manage something stable

Experience at an EV startup, OEM or Tier 1 in vehicle electrification is a strong plus.
