About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to lead and grow sales operations for a premium catering business in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury hospitality, banquets, or large-scale catering, with a proven track record of driving revenue, managing key accounts, and leading sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, event agencies, and premium clientele
- Oversee end-to-end sales cycles for weddings, corporate events, and bespoke catering services
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Ensure seamless coordination with operations and culinary teams for event execution
- Prepare regular performance reports and sales forecasts
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury hotels, high-end banquets, or catering sales
- Strong network within Mumbai and surrounding regions (preferred)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage high-value events
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
