Role Profile
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Network Architect with deep expertise in enterprise Wi-Fi and low-latency data centre network design, particularly within Arista-based environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, engineering, implementing, and optimizing scalable and secure network infrastructure, supporting high-performance applications, critically important workloads, and seamless wireless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and design enterprise-grade Wi-Fi networks, ensuring robust performance, security, and scalability across large enterprise campuses or distributed office environments.
Lead the design and deployment of low-latency Layer 2/3 LANs within data centres, with a solid focus on Arista EOS, spine-leaf topologies, and latency-sensitive applications.
Define network architecture standards, configuration templates, and deployment guidelines.
Collaborate with IT design and engineering, product managers, solution managers, cybersecurity, and business units to ensure network solutions meet business and customer functional, performance, and compliance requirements.
Evaluate new networking technologies and make recommendations aligned with business strategy and future growth.
Develop detailed architecture and network diagrams, HLDs and documentation for handover and engineering support.
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of sophisticated network issues and priority one service incidents.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
Required Skills & Experience
Confirmed experience designing and deploying enterprise Wi-Fi networks (e.g. Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus), including sophisticated wireless controller configurations, RF planning, and roaming optimization.
Strong expertise in Arista Networks technologies, including EOS, CloudVision, VXLAN EVPN, and ultra-low-latency switch configurations.
Deep understanding of network architecture principles including segmentation, QoS, multicast, high availability, and routing protocols BGP/OSPF/ISIS.
Experience in data centre network design, especially spine-leaf architctures, east-west traffic optimization, and performance monitoring.
Solid grasp of network security standard methodologies, including NAC (e.g. ClearPass), WPA3, and RADIUS.
Familiarity with automation tools and network programmability (e.g. GitLab, Ansible, Python, API integration).
Ability to lead cross-functional technical projects from architectural concept to deployment.
Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNP/CCIE, Arista ACE, CWNA/CWDP) helpful.
Soft Skills:
Good oral and written communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical collaborators.
Strategic problem solver with the ability to align technical initiatives with business objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience in environments requiring ultra-low latency (e.g. high-frequency trading, real-time analytics).
Knowledge of SDN, container networking, and integration with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Additional Requirements:
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet timelines.
Ability to work under pressure, financial and tight timelines
Willingness to travel occasionally for business needs.
