Job Description
We have been mandated by one of our clients (a reputed global organization) to identify and onboard a Global Lead - Leadership Development.
Overview:
The Global Lead of Leadership Development is responsible for leading and executing a comprehensive global leadership development strategy that aligns with the organization's strategic goals. This role will oversee the development and implementation of leadership programs, initiatives, and tools to identify, develop, and retain high-potential talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a global leadership development strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business strategy.
- Identify critical leadership competencies and behaviors required for success at all levels of the organization.
- Partner with senior leadership to establish a leadership culture that fosters growth, innovation, and high performance.
- Program Design and Delivery:
- Design, develop, and implement a suite of innovative leadership development programs, including:
- Leadership academies and boot camps
- Executive coaching
- Mentoring programs
- Succession planning initiatives
- Global leadership rotations and exchanges
- Leverage a variety of learning modalities, including in-person workshops, virtual learning, and self-paced online courses.
- Measure the effectiveness of leadership development programs and make data-driven adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Talent Identification and Development:
- Identify high-potential talent through a variety of methods, such as performance reviews, assessments, and nominations.
- Create customized development plans for high-potential individuals to accelerate their career progression.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, encouraging employees to take ownership of their own career growth.
- Global Collaboration:
- Collaborate with HR business partners, regional HR leaders, and business leaders to ensure alignment and integration of leadership development initiatives across the organization.
- Build strong relationships with external partners, such as executive coaching firms, leadership development consultants, and academic institutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in leadership development.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of leadership development professionals.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance within the team.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to support their professional development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Maters degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in leadership development roles, preferably in a global organization.
- Deep understanding of leadership theories, models, and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Global mindset and cultural sensitivity.
