Director / Lead – Strategic Partnerships & Fundraising

About the Organisation

The organisation is a mission-driven nonprofit focused on strengthening Indias public education system and improving learning outcomes for children at scale. It works closely with government partners to build capacity within schools and education systems and is supported by leading philanthropic and CSR partners.

Role Overview

This role will lead the organisations fundraising and partnership efforts, working closely with the CEO to develop and implement a sustainable fundraising strategy. The position will focus on building relationships with corporate partners, philanthropic foundations, and individual donors to support the organisations long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organisations fundraising and donor engagement strategy.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships with corporates, philanthropic foundations, and individual donors.
• Build and manage long-term partnerships, including securing multi-year funding commitments.
• Maintain strong engagement with existing donors through regular communication and impact reporting.
• Build systems and processes to manage the donor pipeline and fundraising operations.
• Represent the organisation externally and contribute to strengthening its visibility and partnerships.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in fundraising, CSR partnerships, or donor engagement in the social sector.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with corporate and foundation partners.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present program impact effectively.
• Passion for education and social impact.
