Role Overview:


The Director - Human Resources for iMerit Technology Services Pvt. Ltd., based in Pune, will be a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the HR strategy to support the company's growth and talent objectives.


This role partners closely with senior leadership and various business units to provide comprehensive HR solutions, driving employee engagement, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.


The Director - HR will lead a team of HR professionals and play a critical role in building a diverse and inclusive workplace where employees can thrive and contribute to iMerit's success.


Key Responsibilities:


- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, focusing on talent acquisition, development, and retention.


- Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and provide HR solutions that support their objectives, driving business performance.


- Lead the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company's compensation philosophy.


- Oversee the development and implementation of leadership development programs to build a strong leadership pipeline and enhance leadership capabilities across the organization.


- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment, improving employee satisfaction and retention.


- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a workplace where all employees feel valued, respected, and have equal opportunities to succeed.


- Manage employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts effectively.


- Oversee HR operations, including HRIS management, payroll administration, and compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.


- Lead change management initiatives to support organizational transformations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruption to the business.


- Utilize HR analytics to track key HR metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve HR effectiveness and efficiency.


- Manage workforce planning activities, including forecasting future talent needs and developing strategies to address potential skill gaps.


- Ensure HR compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, mitigating legal risks and ensuring ethical business practices.


- Develop and implement performance management systems that drive employee performance and support the achievement of business goals.


- Manage stakeholder relationships, building trust and credibility with employees, managers, and senior leaders.


Required Skillset:


- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and drive organizational performance.


- Proven experience in leading and managing HR teams, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.


- Expertise in compensation and benefits design and administration, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices.


- Strong understanding of leadership development principles and practices, with the ability to design and deliver effective leadership programs.


- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.


- Deep knowledge of HR operations, including HRIS management, payroll administration, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.


- Proven ability to manage employee relations issues, resolving conflicts effectively and ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.


- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to track key HR metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.


- Experience in change management, with the ability to lead organizational transformations and ensure smooth transitions.


- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
