Director of Global People Analytics role emphasizes critical thinking, data-driven decisions to improve efficiency of organizational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of a strategic vision for people data and analytics
- Develop positive relationships with program owners, business partners, and leaders to build relevant and actionable insights on our people and programs
- Develop and implement data governance structures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of people data
- Present complex business processes as easy-to-understand stories and insights on their impact and opportunities to increase value delivery
- Use data-driven listening techniques to improve employee experience
- Collect, analyze, and interpret workforce trends, employee engagement, performance, and talent acquisition data
- Collaborate with collaborators to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for Micron’s People Programs
- Build an analytics culture by communicating the value of analytics to management and executives and establishing learning pathways to increase data literacy within the organization
- Collaborate with other analytics and technology functions to develop solutions, share standard methodologies and insights, and help increase the adoption of enterprise analytics technologies
- Stay up to date on the latest trends in people data and analytics, particularly emerging trends in AI for analytics
You Are:
- In the Director of Global People Analytics role, you embody ownership, thought leadership, guiding, coaching, and mentoring team members regionally and globally. Your grasp of numbers is profound, allowing you to delve deep into data to identify talent gaps and spearhead data-informed decision-making.
- You are focused on growing operations by managing quality, processes, tools, and data governance. You operate efficiently, think critically, and can apply your business sense, consultative manner, and skill with data and analytics. As an inspiring leader, you encourage and lead through personal demonstration, setting the bar for excellence and ingenuity!
- Your impact is felt across the organization as you help us boost our foresight in data and make informed decisions within the People Organization and beyond.
Requirements:
- Overall 16+ years experience, including 5 years as analytics leader in enterprise environment gathering people data.
- Expertise in using data and analytics to contribute to a comprehensive talent strategy and large-scale transformation.
- Experience as a consultant and comfort as a facilitator.
- Intellectual curiosity and passion for learning to stay at the forefront of the latest behavioral science and organizational performance research and trends.
- A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience).
- Outstanding business insight to develop connections and successfully persuade senior collaborators and external partners.
- Dedication to continual learning demonstrated through ongoing education or self-directed learning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% to fulfill the role’s responsibilities.
