Director - Finance Transformation

A tech-enabled global consulting firm is seeking a visionary Finance Transformation Consultant (Associate Director/Director) to lead strategic change programs for large enterprises. You'll work with CFOs and finance leaders to drive end-to-end transformations through process innovation, technology adoption, and operating model redesign.

Location: Mumbai/Bengaluru/Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver large-scale finance transformation engagements , including process design and target operating model definition and provide functional consulting.
• Collaborate with CFOs and finance leaders to assess current-state maturity , identify improvement opportunities, and build business cases.
• Define future-state processes, policies, and controls across the finance value chain (e.g., R2R, P2P, FP&A, Tax, Treasury).
• Drive digital enablement using ERP (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud) and other finance technologies (RPA, EPM, analytics, AI).
• Lead workshops, stakeholder alignment sessions, and change management initiatives.
• Oversee project delivery, manage teams, budgets, and timelines, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and act as a strategic advisor on finance transformation matters.
• Support business development, including proposal writing, solutioning, and client pitches.
• Mentor and develop junior consultants in the finance transformation practice.

Requirements

Must-Have:

• 8-10 years of experience in Finance Transformation / Consulting / Advisory.
• Proven track record in leading finance transformation programs or finance function redesign.
• Deep functional knowledge of core finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, etc.).
• Strong exposure to one or more ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday) and digital enablers (e.g., Blackline, Anaplan, Alteryx, Power BI, RPA).
• Excellent client management, stakeholder communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and deliver tangible outcomes.
