Role Overview

The Director Finance will oversee the companys financial operations, compliance, and reporting framework. This leadership role is responsible for finalization of accounts, implementation of robust internal controls, and driving data-driven financial insights to support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and manage financial statements in alignment with statutory and internal reporting timelines.
• Oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and cash flow tracking.
• Lead month-end and year-end closure of books and ensure accurate balance sheet finalization.
• Implement, monitor, and strengthen internal financial controls and company-wide financial governance.
• Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax filings, audits, and statutory compliances.
• Support leadership with financial analysis, cost optimization insights, and strategic planning inputs.
• Ensure accountability and performance within the finance team, while collaborating with cross-functional departments.
• Self-driven, disciplined, and able to operate in a fast-paced and structured environment.

Candidate Profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 78 years of post-qualification experience in a Financial Controller or similar leadership role.
• Additional certifications (CPA, CFA) are an advantage.
• Proven experience in finance operations, MIS, compliances, and audit management.
• Strong knowledge of statutory accounting, reporting standards, and internal financial control frameworks.
• Proficiency in SAP Business One, Excel, and digital finance tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and team leadership skills.
