GSA is now being established as an independent entity in order to give it a separate brand identity and develop as a full fledged academy imparting long term and short term courses in the area of green skills. Role Description

TheDirector-cum-Dean will providestrategic leadership, academic direction, and operational oversight to the Green Skill Academy. The role combinesinstitutional management withacademic excellence , ensuring the Academy becomes acenter of excellence in green skills, sustainability, climate action, and future-ready livelihoods .

Design and approvecurricula, certification programs, diplomas, and short-term courses in:

• Renewable energy,Green buildings, Climate resilience, Sustainable agriculture.Waste & water management, ESG & carbon accounting
• Encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, and incubation in green sectors.
• Build partnerships with:
• Industry & MSMEs
• Government ministries & departments
• International agencies
• Prepare and manage annual budgets and financial plans and Mobilize funds

Reporting To: Chairman/MD

Location: Bengaluru

• Type: Full time and contractualfor 3 years. Can be renewed based on performance and mutual interest.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree / PhD in:
• Sustainability
• Environmental sciences
• Engineering
• Public policy
• Management or related fields
• Experience - 10+ years in the relevant field preferably with background in training and skill development.
• ExcellentCommunication skills with leadership qualities are required. Desire to work passionately for a cause will be a preferredcriteria.
