Director Corporate Development

1. Fundraising Strategy & Execution (Primary Focus)

• Design and execute the companys fundraising roadmap.
• Identify and build relationships with VCs, PE funds, family offices, and strategic investors
• Own investor pipeline management and outreach strategy
• Lead investor conversations alongside founders

2. Financial Modeling & Investor Materials

• Build and maintain detailed financial models (35 year projections)
• Prepare pitch decks, investor memos, and board materials
• Develop valuation frameworks and funding scenarios
• Ensure data accuracy and strong financial storytelling

3. Due Diligence & Deal Management

• Manage end-to-end due diligence process
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and external advisors
• Maintain and organize investor data room
• Support term sheet negotiations and deal structuring

4. Investor Relations

• Maintain ongoing communication with existing investors
• Prepare monthly/quarterly investor updates
• Track key metrics and business performance reporting

5. Strategic Finance Support

• Analyze capital allocation decisions
• Support scenario planning and runway management
• Assist leadership in strategic growth decisions

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 57 years of experience in:
• Investment Banking / Venture Capital / Private Equity/ Startup
• Startup fundraising / Corporate Development
• Strategic Finance in high-growth startups
• Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise
• Experience managing live fundraising processes
• Strong network within VC/PE ecosystem (preferred)
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Comfortable working directly with founders in a fast-paced environment
