As a Director, Commercial Sales you will provide strategy, mentorship, and guidance for Commercial Sales Managers and their direct reports, ultimately furthering the growth of our organization. This role impacts one of the largest lines of business in the company, ultimately bringing a proven product to a multi-billion dollar market.

What Youll Do:
Forecast performance based on team productivity Hire, oversee, and train a team of Commercial Sales Managers and Commercial Sales Executives Facilitate the ramp up for all new team members, coaching them to success Develop and monitor effective outbound prospecting strategies to increase customer acquisition Evaluate trends to identify areas for improvement and surface best-practices Provide regular and accurate revenue forecasting to your leadership team Cross-collaborate with stakeholder departments to actualize on go-to-market strategies, develop training curriculum, and meet hiring goals Who You Are:
Experienced in building and managing a high performing Commercial Sales team for a B2B technology company in India A strong relationship builder with 5+ years of overall Commercial sales experience working with Commercial sized organizations (X+ employees) in the India and SAARC region Able to accurately forecast team performance Confident in managing complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders and negotiations with pricing based on business value, legal and procurement Experienced in managing and coaching sales teams to meet and exceed their sales quotas Passionate about developing others with a successful track record as an individual contributor and can share relevant and complex closing experience with a growing team Proven in overseeing an first-line managers in all areas of the sales cycle Customer-centric with a strong track record of developing satisfied customers Successful in working cross-functionally, leveraging strong organizational and time management expertise Able to travel via auto, train or air up to 70% of the time within India, SAARC and the wider APAC region Datadog values people from all walks of life.
