JOB POSITION

The Director – Pre Sales (D), reporting directly to the Managing Director - Growth Partners, will oversee the Commerciaization Pre-Sales and Solution organization, and will lead all pre-sales activities in providing comprehensive technical and strategic support to the sales team. This role involves collaborating with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure the successful positioning of healthcare solutions to prospective clients and handling a portfolio of upto 50M pipeline be handled. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements. This is a senior and critical role within the organization, and the role will own the end-to-end pre-sales solution life cycle and extend need based support across. This includes developing and implementing a presales strategy and processes that align with Commercialization objectives, as well as assigning and managing presales resources.

The Director – Pre-Sales will act as an expert, leading by example through hands-on involvement. This role requires the management of resources and close collaboration with the team, actively defining processes and developing GTM strategies. The individual will hold responsibility for the implementation of strategies and the delivery of results across different teams,and geographies like India & Phillipines, working alongside a varied set of resources that include both internal and external stakeholders, to establish scalable solutions. The individual will need to have strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills, as they manage the presales team, coordinate with other departments, and monitor the presales pipeline and metrics.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

The Director – Pre Sales shall:

  • Influence and partner with Global, India and PHL stakeholders
  • Collaborate with sales teams (CGS Global)to qualify opportunities, create solution bid plan, work with solution architects to create solution responses, create RFP solution responses, work with operations to create staffing models for pricing and create  RFP oral presentations
  • Partner with Solution Architects across the CGS locations to define solution features and functionalities.
  • Engage in effective communication with clients to ascertain their needs and assess alternative technical solutions and strategies.
  • Create and manage knowledge management repositories of all solutions, capabilities, frameworks
  • Publish white papers on solutions relevant for the commercialization organization
  • Participate in and Conduct Symposiums, Conferences, Road Shows aligning to Commercialization solutions
  • Coordinate with Delivery Leaders to outline and define project timelines.
  • Allocate resources and assign workloads based on Pre-Sales team needs.
  • Recruit and retain talent, fostering employee engagement, development, and succession planning.
  • Exhibit a collaborative leadership approach, effectively leading and influencing diverse teams.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with key internal business stakeholders’ leaders across multiple countries to ensure successful outcomes keeping clients in mind
  • Supervise business managers, nurturing talent for the success of the business.

QUALIFICATION

  • Graduates having bachelor’s degree in computers, Computing or Engineering with a master’s in business administration from a Top Tier Institution.
  • Experience in an IT services or Commercial Outsourcing Services organization (preferably Top 4) in a similar role in the pre-sales and solution space.
  • US Healthcare knowledge/experience with AHM-250 Certification.

EXPERIENCE

  • 20+ years of professional experience, with minimum 10 years hands-on experience managing Healthcare Pre-Sales / Solution organizations.
  • 6+ years of people management experience.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to effectively influence solution definition, and decision making across multiple levels of the organization and diverse business & technology groups.
  • Experience in managing global stakeholders across geographies.
  • Proven Strategic Thinking and People management.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare subject areas like claims, member & provider
  • Running multiple large, complex and multi-functional RFPs successfully in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Experience working with various staffing and pricing models and methodologies.
  • Demonstrable ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors, key partners and staff; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; execute with limited information and ambiguity.
  • Ability to stay focused and be a versatile standout colleague that is comfortable under pressure.
  • Demonstrated and applied experience establishing and delivering complex engagements and extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management tools and methodologies.
