Director, Asia Pacific Indirect Supply Chain
Role Overview:
The Director of the APAC Indirect Supply Chain will drive the organization's transformation and processes from country-based locally purchased material and services across the Indirect Supply Chain to centralized supply chain management to leverage spending across key categories and improve overall outcomes in quality, cost, and delivery for the region. You will report to the Vice President of Supply Chain, Global Indirect, who will provide mentorship, training, growth, and development opportunities across our highly resilient, world-changing business.
On a typical day you will:
Provide strategic leadership for Indirect supply chain to maximize business value and results.
Responsible for achieving annual APA indirect productivity targets
Strategy Development: Provide Global category leaders with strategies for APA in the areas of Digital Technology, Professional Services, MRO+, Fleet, and Travel,
Program Execution: Support Global Category leaders with the execution of strategies in APA
Develop and deploy an approved vendor list in collaboration with functional stakeholders to drive value through effective supply base management, spend leverage, fostering a competitive landscape, and repeatable cost reduction delivery.
Establish and implement strategies to create catalogs across APA Indirect categories, to drive improved part harmonization and cost for the region. The key area would be MRO+
Comply with all applicable policies. In all areas of responsibility, the incumbent is responsible for fully complying with “The Otis Absolutes.”
What You Will Need to be Successful:
Minimum of ten years of experience in management in supply chain
Demonstrated experience in driving large-scale organizational and process change
Leadership capabilities, including the ability to influence without direct authority in a matrixed organization and leading a team to achieve results
Ability to apply strategic thinking with strong sourcing, negotiations, and contracting skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and excel in a dynamic global environment
Ability to develop talent with individual development plans and robust employee engagement
Flexibility of daily schedule, allowing for effectiveness in a role with global interactions
English required; multi-lingual is a plus
Travel: 20% including international
