Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory

Location: Delhi, India

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (6-day working)

Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Direct Taxation, specifically in tax litigation, assessments, and compliance. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, updated knowledge of income tax laws, and the ability to handle matters independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage income tax assessments, reassessments, and departmental inquiries.
• Prepare and draft responses to notices, submissions, and appeals before tax authorities.
• Assist in tax litigation including preparation of appeal papers for CIT(A), ITAT, and coordination with legal counsel.
• Handle tax audits, computation of taxable income, and filing of income tax returns.
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all direct tax regulations.
• Conduct research on tax issues, circulars, case laws, and amendments.
• Provide internal teams with tax insights and support during financial planning.
• Liaise with tax authorities and represent the company in hearings.
• Maintain documentation and records for assessments and litigations.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Income Tax Act, case laws, and taxation procedures.
• Hands-on experience in litigation support and assessment handling.
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, taxation software, and e-filing portals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage high-pressure situations.
