Ather wants to strengthen its Engineering Product Development portfolio as it grows as a company with multiple product streams like Performance and Family segment scooters, CI, A&M etc. This calls for a focused approach towards making its Development processes and systems robust across all its verticals. It would require a keen eye to identify all the inefficiencies in the Engineering processes, perform Process FMEA to identify Risk, identify actionable measures, drive them for implementation, and monitor the same post implementation. You will be out Team Center / PLM Champion for the org to prioritize and drive the TC related changes

We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience working on PLM (Team Center) Automotive product development with a 2W / 4W OEM experience, also someone who has working knowledge on Engineering processes like Change management, BOM Management, Part Numbering, Drawing Management, DFX, Bug and Risk Management, etc

What you’ll do at Ather: 

Process Creation: As a Transformation Manager you will be working with the development functions across the verticals like scooter development, charging infrastructure, accessories &  merchandise (mechanical, electrical, hardware, firmware, software) to Set-up / Strengthen the processes and systems that affect the key Development KPIs (Cost, Timeline, Quality). 

You will need to apply your product development understanding to identify the gaps / blockers to improve the development processes. You will also have to work with the development internal audit teams to get feedback on the performance of the processes and systems that has been set up.

Product Development Cycle Optimization: The development teams go through the product development cycle for all upcoming projects as per the org development roadmap. As a Transformation Manager, you will have to identify the root cause for discrepancies in the processes and systems that affect the CTQ metrics, identify the action plans, and execute them accordingly. You will have to analyze the root cause of the P0/P1 (critical) gaps in the development product life cycle suggest corrective and preventive actions and track them for closure through the respective functions

Digitalization: As a Transformation Manager, you are responsible for improving the PLM / Team Center digital transformation tools being used as part of process and systems improvements. You are expected to come up with business case, look at the ROI and Impact of the Digitalization and also work on PRD and Solutioning along with the Tech developers and do UAT, Training and initial handholding of the tool post deployment, identify for continuous improvement with respect to features being used, optimize the cost of usage, improve the quality, and speed of execution of the output

Here’s what we are looking for: 

- PLM / Team Center champion and End to End Automotive Development Product Life Cycle Understanding from Concept to Start of Sales

- Ability to identify the gaps and the opportunities for improvement w.r.t to Process and Systems

- Expertise in APQP, FMEA, Change Management.  Working experience in designing and improving development processes and systems across various domains. 

What you bring to Ather: 

- Bachelors/Masters Degree in a quantitative discipline, e.g. Engineering with 10 to 12 years of experience in 2W / 4W automotive product development
- Team Center End to End implementation
- Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt)
- Expert on Product Lifecycle Management tools like Teamcenter, ERP software like SAP, Collaboration tools like JIRA, Basic understanding of simulation tools like ANSYS, Matlab is a plus
