Digital : SAP Mobile Platform Developer E1

Candidate should be responsible for designing, building, and deploying secure, high-performance, and user-friendly mobile applications that connect to SAP backend systems (ECC/S/4HANA). This role involves utilizing SAP BTP Mobile Services , Mobile Development Kit (MDK), and SAP Mobile Platform (SMP) to deliver end-to-end mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development: Design and develop custom mobile apps, including native iOS/Android, hybrid, and SAP Fiori mobile applications.
• SAP Mobile Technology: Utilize SAP Mobile Services, Mobile Development Kit (MDK), SAP BTP SDK for iOS/Android, and SMP Cockpit for app configuration.
• Integration: Integrate mobile apps with SAP backend systems using OData services, REST APIs, and SAP Gateway.
• Offline Capability: Implement robust online/offline data synchronization and caching strategies to ensure uninterrupted functionality.
• Security: Configure security policies within SMP/SAP Mobile Services, including OAuth, SAML, and data encryption.
• Testing & Debugging: Perform unit testing, UI testing, and troubleshooting to optimize application performance and fix defects.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end application lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, and post-production support.
• Collaboration: Work with UI/UX designers, functional consultants, and backend teams to gather requirements and build solutions.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 36+ years of experience in mobile application development, specifically with SAP technologies.
• SAP Specifics: Hands-on experience with SAP Mobile Platform (SMP 3.0) or SAP Cloud Platform Mobile Services.
• Frameworks: Proficiency in MDK (Mobile Development Kit), SAPUI5, Fiori, or Agentry (Syclo).
• Languages: Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and/or Java/Swift.
• Backend: Strong knowledge of OData, Netweaver Gateway, and BAPI/RFC.
• Tools: Experience with SAP BAS (Business Application Studio) or Web IDE.
