Job Description:
Position Title: Digital Product Analyst
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct end-to-end product analytics to support feature development, shopper-journey optimization, and continuous improvement across web and app experiences.
- Utilize big-data analytics, experimentation, and test-and-learn methodologies to uncover actionable insights that drive the Digital Shopper Experience.
- Manage key quantitative measures across digital channels, including page engagement, site friction points, traffic and conversion metrics, personalization performance, and transactional behaviors.
- Take an answers-first approach to analytics by understanding business objectives, determining what data is needed, and proactively shaping visibility into KPIs and product performance.
- Deeply understand data tables, schemas, and data architecture; partner closely with data engineering and business teams to design the optimal approach for extracting, modeling, and presenting data (BI dashboards, automated pipelines, ML-powered interfaces, etc.)
- Identify unmet data needs and work with cross-functional teams to ensure they are resolved in a timely and scalable manner.
- Build automated and scalable reporting pipelines that provide intuitive, reliable visibility into product and shopper experience performance.
- Create clarity amid ambiguitytake initiative in shaping analytical approaches, defining requirements with stakeholders, and navigating complex or unclear data environments.
- Foster a data-driven culture by increasing accessibility to insights, improving data visibility across teams, and promoting best practices in measurement and experimentation.
- Partner with product, UX, engineering, and business stakeholders to define success metrics, design experiments, and translate behavioral data into meaningful business outcomes.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly and succinctly to senior leadership, ensuring insights lead to well-informed decisions and strategic prioritization.
- Build trust and strong relationships across a wide variety of internal and external partners; represent the analytics function effectively and collaboratively.
- Contribute to a test-and-learn culture by designing experiments, measuring impact, and driving continuous improvement across the customer journey.
Experience Required:
- 69 years of experience in product analytics, digital analytics, or data analysis, ideally in e-commerce, retail, grocery, or consumer digital products.
- Experience conducting user behavior analysis, funnel analysis, and experimentation (A/B testing).
- Strong SQL skills and experience with analytics tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Looker, Tableau).
- Familiarity with product development processes and agile methodologies; ability to partner effectively with product managers. engineers and UX teams.
- Experience defining KPIs, building dashboards, and automating recurring reporting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
