About the Team and the Role

The DO Function team at Ather is responsible for driving strategic change and practical digital implementation across the Sourcing and SCM functions to establish a world-class EV supply chain.

This role is for a visionary leader with deep supply chain knowledge and cutting-edge digital expertise who will architect the future of our integrated Source-to-Procure (S2P) ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Champion a disruptive digital mindset within SCM and Sourcing, constantly seeking next-generation solutions.

• Design and execute a multi-year digital roadmap focusing on a fully integrated Source-to-Procure (S2P) ecosystem.

• Leverage advanced analytics and predictive modeling from high-pace industries to optimize the EV supply chain.

• Drive the implementation of advanced S&OP systems, integrating AI/ML for near-perfect forecast accuracy.

• Identify and implement hyper-automation opportunities in procurement, contract management, and logistics execution.

• Build a robust, centralized data lake to move from reactive reporting to predictive analytics for supplier risk.

• Spearhead the development of intuitive mobile applications for real-time visibility of critical sourcing materials.

• Design scalable systems and architectures built to handle high volumes and long-term organizational growth.

Experience and Qualifications

• BE/MCA degree.

• 12-16 years of total experience, with a minimum of 6 years focused explicitly on Supply Chain Digital Transformation in large-scale MNCs.

Must Have Competencies

• Expert-level knowledge of Sourcing, S2P processes, and Advanced S&OP/IBP systems.

• Demonstrated success in full lifecycle implementation of major e-Sourcing and Procurement platforms like SAP Ariba, Coupa, or GEP.

• Advanced proficiency in delivering mobile-first solutions and mobile applications focusing heavily on user experience.

• Expertise in architecting technical and enterprise solutions for large-scale digital transformations.

Good to have Competencies

• Familiarity with SCM Data & Analytics tools such as Power BI and Tableau for predicting disruptions.

• Basic understanding of AI/ML applications in customer service, predictive analytics, and workflow automation.

• Exposure to scaling Salesforce solutions for large dealer networks or multi-location businesses.

• Experience in high-tech manufacturing, automotive, or the specific EV component ecosystem.
