Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Digital Modeler Automotive to support exterior and interior surfacing projects. The candidate will work closely with design, engineering, and Class-A teams to develop high-quality digital surfaces meeting automotive standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop CAS and Class-A surfaces for automotive exterior and interior components
• Translate design sketches and Alias models into production-ready surfaces
• Ensure surfaces meet Aesthetic, Quality, and Manufacturability standards
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and CAE teams
• Perform surface quality checks (continuity, reflection, curvature analysis)
• Support feasibility studies and design iterations

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Autodesk Alias (mandatory)
• Good knowledge of CAS & Class-A surfacing principles
• Understanding of automotive design processes
• Ability to work independently and meet project timelines

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to OEM or Tier-1 automotive projects
• Knowledge of Sub D / Blender is a plus
• Good communication and coordination skills

Qualification

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical, Automobile, or Design-related field
