About the Role

Requirements:

1. Create non-plagiarized, AI free news content with consistency in style, images and tone.
2. Should be able to do basic fact checks.
3. Track trends in the US, Canada and other assigned geographies/ countries. Strong understanding and interest in news and trends across North America, Europe and India from all beats with a strong ability to pick out eye-catching details.
4. Conduct research on news topics, check multiple and official sources, adhere to journalistic standards
5. Write engaging, informative, and accurate news articles.
6. Meet deadlines and publish content on time.
7. Ensure news articles are SEO optimized.
8. Published the assigned quota of stories in every shift
9. Meet the target in terms of quantum of stories and PVs
10. Excellent command over the English language.
11. Should have a strong sense of initiative, enthusiasm and ownership of work assigned.

Eligibility

1. Experience- 2-7 years in an English news organization
2. Operations are shift based, which requires flexibility in doing all shifts, including graveyard shifts which will be once every 4-5 weeks.
