About the Organization/Business UnitThe candidate will be a part of the Communications stream under MACS Agile India and will be responsible for supporting Capgemini’s social team for a specific country or sector.Job Description:ü Craft and manage the overall social messagingü Write and edit news alerts, press releases, and compile weekly newsletterü Prepare coverage reports and social dashboardsü Prepare social content calendarsü Prepare and execute social media campaigns involving targeting and retargeting of target audienceü Maintain the Influencer Tracking List, as well as other key lists for media monitoring and country network distributionü Involvement in supporting key social programs: support for creative content, ideas, report launches, news announcements and fortnightly calls helping to build and execute the comms strategyü Support key spokespeople with briefing documents in order to prepare for social or press interviewsü Liaise with local PR managers in countries to keep them informed of upcoming content they can leverage and facilitate Group approvals of materialsü Liaise with an external agency to co-ordinate and support key social programs and drive resultsJob RequirementsSpecification / Skills / Experience- 8+ years of communications and PR and or social media experience- Has experience of working with a global tech major or is from an agency who has managed PR or social media for global tech companies- Proficiency in English, a very high standard of both spoken and written language- Independent and can self-manage the workload- Robust writing skills - the selected candidate will be writing and editing content on a daily basis- University degree in journalism, media studies or related qualification- A cross-cultural background- Ability to manage more than one project at a time working under tight deadlines- Strong organizational skills- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS PowerPointSpecification / Skills / Experience
