Diagnostics Engineer – UDS / OBD

We are looking for an experienced Diagnostics Engineer with deep expertise in Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) and On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) .

Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune

Position Type: Contract(6 Months)

Experience: 7-11 years of relevant experience required

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners only

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement diagnostic communication stacks for automotive ECUs
• Develop and validate diagnostic specifications, DTCs, and service routines
• Perform ECU flashing and reprogramming using diagnostic tools
• Analyze CAN, LIN, and Ethernet communication for diagnostics
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate diagnostic features
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14229 (UDS), ISO 15765 (CAN), SAE J1979 (OBD-II)
• Support vehicle-level testing and troubleshooting using CANoe, CANalyzer , or similar tools
• Prepare diagnostic strategy documentation and test reports

Good-to-have exposure to Agile methodologies
